Shipping The cost of overseas shipping will need to be added to your order, and this will have to be assessed once your order has been placed. We will let you know within 48 hours of your order what your shipping costs will be. All orders being sent to a BFPO address will be charged as for UK residents. If you should decide not to go ahead with the order after receiving a shipping quote, there is no obligation to Sur la Piste, but if you do decide to go ahead, with your permission we shall simply add the cost of shipping to your order and your credit card transaction. Please note that local import taxes may apply which are the responsibility of the customer. Unless Sur la Piste are informed otherwise or it is agreed otherwise, it will be assumed that all orders have been received by the purchaser within 14 days of date of sending, as shown by the relevant proof of posting certificate. Returns
If you would like to return an item
it must be done within 7 days of receipt with the item in pristine condition
and all the relevant labelling still attached to the garment. We are unable
to accept returns under any other conditions. You will either receive a full
refund or an exchange can be made with the balance payable or credited using the same
means by which you made your payment. Please include a Proof of Posting
certificate from the Post Office in your parcel. Insurance is the responsibility
of the sender, we cannot be held responsible for returns mislaid by the buyer's
delivery agents. It is therefore advisable to send returns by recorded delivery. The
cost of the return is the responsibility of the customer and not refundable by
Sur la Piste. All exchanges will be charged a further carriage charge at the same rate
as the original purchase.
During a Sale, if an exchange is required on an item bought prior to the start
of the Sale, the exchanged items will be credited at the original price and new
items charged at the original price not the Sale Price. Returns are not accepted
on sale goods, and unless specifically otherwise agreed with Sur la Piste, any sale items
will be returned back to the customer and an extra levy of £4.75 or the actual cost of
delivery of the items(s), whichever is the greater, will be charged to the customer.
This does not affect your statutory rights. Payment We accept payment by visa or mastercard. Please note that you will be charged in £sterling(GBP), but the amount of your purchase will appear in your local currency on your statement. VAT-Free Sales If you are a non-EU resident or British Forces Personnel and would like us to provide VAT-free sales, we will deduct 17.5% from the price of all our products that are not zero-rated. If you would like us to do this, please remember to send an email to us at sales@surlapiste.com asking for this service at the same time as sending in your order giving your full name and address as displayed on your order. Please note that the majority of items we sell are zero-rated and therefore not subject to VAT at 17.5%.
SUR LA PISTE’s total
liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the value of goods
supplied by SUR LA PISTE to the customer. SUR LA PISTE shall not be liable
for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of
duty in contract or in any other way. SUR LA PISTE cannot accept any liability
for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated in the garment
or in the brochure, and in particular we do not guarantee clothing that has
been washed in an optical brightener as this will result in a loss of colour
over time. Customers’ statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
TRADE DESCRIPTIONS: Every care has been taken to ensure that the description
and specifications are correct at the time of going to press. However, while
the colour reproduction is a close representation, a variation in actual
goods may occur. VALUE ADDED TAX: VAT is not payable on children’s clothing
in the UK and we are supplying our customers, on trust, assuming that items
bought are intended for children. However, there are some items that may
be subject to VAT @ 17.5% as advised by the Inland Revenue, but this amount
will be included in the price. All overseas deliveries are subject to local
import duties, payable by the customer, and may be affected by Customs and
Excise delays. |
